Self Defense

Self Defense can be a great tool for college students if they ever find themselves in a situation that they can't get out of. This can be especially helpful if you are in a sexual assault situation and your attacker is stronger than you.

Self Defense can be extremely important for college students, male or female, and everyone should take a class and know certain moves before they attend college

When in a situation where you need to use self-defense, the main parts of the body you want to attack are the eyes, nose, knee, throat, solar plexus, and groin.

Some simple moves that you can do when you are in a tough situation are pulling apart the pointer and index and the ring and pinky. This will force them to let go. Or you could go to the throat.

If you are ever in a situation where your attacker grabs your wrist, there is a simple way to get out of it. All you need to do is twist your wrist around your attackers so that your hand is one the side of your attacker's thumb and then all you need to do is pull as hard as you can.

In this move all, you need to do is hit the attacker’s temple, jaw, or nose with your elbow. Once you have done that, take the same elbow and hit the attacker in the groin or stomach.

For this move, all you need to do is hit the groin area. This will paralyze them and render them incapable of attacking. This will give you enough time to get away. 

If there is some space between you and your attack there are ways that you can defend yourself with your palm. All you need to do is straighten your left arm and hit the attacker on their chin and nose with your right arm. After that, you need to is hit them in the groin.

If your attacker has pushed you up against the wall you can hit him underneath the arm, or if one of the attacker's arms is down you can either hit them in the chest, chin, or neck.

If your attacker grabs you from the front and you are unable to lift your arms, you can take both your hands to make a fist and hit your attacker in the pelvis. After that, you can hit their forehead or nose with your own head. Once the attacker has let go you can hit them in the groin with your knee.

If your attacker has grabbed you from behind all of the need to do is hit the attacker's forehead with the back of your own hear, grab the attacker's leg and then pull it so that they fall.
